"Eine Feuerhand kommt selten alleine. Drei Lampen plus Laternenhalter schmücken am Abend unseren Garten. Das warme Licht einer echten Flamme ist durch nichts zu ersetzen, vielleicht nicht so praktisch wie eine LED Beleuchtung, aber eben ungleich schöner. Wie mögen natürlich auch das Design und natürlich die vielen angebotenen Farben. Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell, nichts wurde beschädigt geliefert. Dennoch der Hinweis an Feuerhand, verbessert das Verpacken, wenn Halter mit versendet werden. Dies haben sich vom Karton gelöst und lagen zum Teil lose im Karton. Wir hatten zum Glück keine Lackschäden. Hier sollte nachgebessert werden."

A kerosene lantern such as the Baby Special 276 runs on liquid fuel (kerosene) and provides independent lighting without any power source. It also features an open cold-air system that ensures a continuous supply of oxygen to the flame.
The cold-air system in your storm lantern uses a chimney and side supports to direct fresh air to the flame. The rising warm air then ensures an even, steady flame.
For the Baby Special 276, we recommend high-quality lamp oil with a high degree of fuel purity. Feuerhand lamp oil is ideally suited to the needs of your storm lantern and provides an odorless, low-soot burn. This prevents the glass chimney from becoming dirty and provides a maximum burn time of up to 20 hours.
The burn time of your Baby Special 276 storm lantern depends on the tank capacity. With a 300 ml tank filling, you can enjoy around 20 hours of continuous illumination.
To adjust the wick optimally, turn the rotary knob on the burner to adjust the wick length. The ideal wick length is approximately 1.5 to 2 cm to ensure an even flame.
Extinguishing the flame is very easy. There is a rotary knob on the side of your burner that you can use to adjust the wick height. To extinguish the flame, simply turn the lantern wick carefully into the burner until it is barely visible.
If your lantern is leaking oil, this may be due to an overfilled tank, movement while filled, or temperature fluctuations. Always follow the filling instructions in the user manual and avoid excessive movement. If oil continues to leak, please do not hesitate to contact our Feuerhand Support team.
Store your Baby Special 276 storm lantern in a dry place and ideally use the appropriate carrying bag to protect it from dust and dirt. Be sure to empty the tank after use to prevent oil from leaking.
To clean the glass and your storm lantern, carefully remove it by pulling the lifting ring on the chimney upward and folding out the glass. Removing the glass allows you to clean it thoroughly. You can find all other care instructions in the user manual.
