"Amazing lantern: the famous design, German quality, the paint and clever adaptation in an LED variant while preserving the distinctive look. I love these lamps. The only thing I found a bit frustrating is that the LED does not have flickering effect like a real fire does. Some of the cheaper lamps have this effect, although they usually have dim glass. I chose an LED variant as an eco-friendly option, and I was a bit disappointed that it lacked this comforting flicker. Still, I’m super happy with the purchase. The lamp itself has a unique feel, which is enough to make me happy :)"

"Heute ist meine neue LED Sturmlaterne angekommen. Wie das letzte Mal eine super schnelle Lieferung. Ich konnte es kaum erwarten sie aus zu packen. Ich finde die LED Variante der Sturmlaterne eigentlich keine schlechte Idee. Ich habe bereits eine Baby 276 als normale Sturmlaterne. Die Verarbeitung sowie die Pulverbeschichtung sind wie gewohnt sehr hochwertig. Also, ausgepackt, Akkus rein und eingeschaltet. . . . . . Hmmm, das ist "warmes" Licht? Im ersten Moment war ich etwas enttäuscht. Stellt man die Öl und die LED Variante Nebeneinander ist der Unterschied noch krasser. Da ich bei diesen Laternen auf das gemütliche Licht stehe, weiss ich nicht ob ich mit dieser Lichtfarbe glücklich werde. Ich werde die Laterne am Wochenende mal am Abend bei Dunkelheit ausprobieren. Wenn es mir dann zu kalt ist, werde ich die Laterne leider zurück schicken müssen. . . . . Außerdem gefällt es mir nicht das ich die Laterne nicht an meiner USB C PD Powerbank oder Steckerladegerät aufladen kann. Funktioniert nur mit einem USB A auf USB C Kabel, was leider nicht dabei ist. Schön wäre auch die Laterne während des Ladevorgangs weiter betreiben zu können. Aber diese Dinge sind zu vernachlässigen wenn man sie weiß. Die Lichtfarbe dagegen nicht."
